Good morning my crafty friends! I hope you all are enjoying this wonderful 3 day weekend we were blessed with! Happy Labor Day to you all! Welcome to the September 2020 Technique Blog Hop! I’m so excited to share another beautiful project with you and some fellow stampers. This month’s technique is Clear Block Stamping. I can’t wait to show you my project!
Today’s card features the Celebrations Tidings suite of products. I have been having so much fun playing with these items, and I have come up with so many different ways to use them. My colors are Soft Suede, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, and Poppy Parade.
Clear block stamping is super easy to do. You simply take a clear block, color on it with markers, spritz the block with some water, and press it onto a piece of paper. Watercolor paper usually works the best because it does not suck in the water and you can manipulate your colors a little. You can use any paper however, and I used a piece of Very Vanilla.
My card measurements are as follows: Soft Suede – 11” x 4 ¼”, scored at 2 ¾” and 5 ½” on the 11 “ side. Daffodil Delight – 4 ½” x3 ¼” Very Vanilla – 3 1/8” x 4 3/8”, 4” x 5 ¼” Plaid Tidings DSP – 1 ¼” x 4”

Hello my crafty friends!! I have the project that we made for the Online Card Class today. I hope you were able to catch it live, but if you missed t, be sure to join me next Wednesday HERE for another live class!
Today I only made one card. I think it was worth it though! Here is the card we made, it was a bit of a fun fold card.
So it is not a card that will stand up on it’s own. The card base is a piece of Rich Razzelberry that measures 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″. I put a piece of Very Vanilla on the back for writing a personal message.
The inside has the same image, however I put my sentiment over the little canister.
Here you can see the glimmer I added from my favorite embellishment right now…my Wink of Stella. This adds just enough of a finishing touch without over doing it. There are links to all the items I used at the bottom of the post.

I just love the color scheme, and I think Merry Merlot is my current Favorite color. It is such a bold color, perfect for Fall.
I have been all about water coloring lately, and I have used it on almost all of my projects. I like how it adds a slightly different shade of color using the same inks.

Hello to you all! I have a fun project to share with you today. 2 actually…I created these using contents of Simply Citrus Kit and a little extra paper.
I just love the way these cards came out. I used some of the card bases from the kit and cut them up. I also used a banner cut in half. I especially like the colors.

I am so grateful you are here! I do hope you were able to catch my Online Card Class today, but if not you can find the replay toward the bottom of this post. Let’s check out what we made today.
Today I showed you how to make an adorable Door Hanger and a cute card. Most of the items used were from the Simply Citrus Card Kit with a few extras thrown in.
I was very pleased with how these turned out, and I can’t wait to give these to someone!
My card measurement are as follow: ~ Thick Whisper White – 11″ x 4 ¼” ~ Whisper White – 5 ¼” x 4”, plus scrap for stamping and cutting images ~ Night of Navy strip – 5 1/4″ X 1 1/16″ ~ Envelope strip – 5 1/4″ x 15/16″
I love how the Wink of Stella added just enough sparkle to the card!
Next up is my door hanger. Isn’t just adorable? I really love the stamp set that came with the Simply Citrus Kit.
The door hanger is super cute and can hold any type of small treat you would like to put in there! My Door Hanger measurements are as follows: ~ Flirty Flamingo – 11” x 4 ¼”; score on the 11” side at 7” and 7 ⅝”, mark the edges at 3 ⅝”. Score on both sides of the 4 ¼” side at ⅝” ~ DSP – 4” x 2” and 3 ⅜” x 2” ~ Whisper White scrap for stamping and punching sentiment ~ Night of Navy scrap for punching layer for sentiment
